22-23 October, 2-5pm, Leeds University Union, LS2 9JZ
Join Tatiana Hernández-De Ceapóg for free textile-making workshops as part of Platforma 6
An enjoyable craft session for people of all ages with no experience necessary, inspired by the Chilean textile art form of creating ‘Arpilleras’. Children under the age of 16 are welcome but must have an adult with them.
Participants will be taught the practical skills needed to contribute to a large-scale ‘communal arpillera’ which will be displayed at the end of the workshops.
You are welcome to attend either or both sessions and/or the talks at 4pm each day.

The sessions are inspired by a new online exhibition commissioned or Platforma 6 from Conflict Textiles.
