The Migration Museum Project presents:
TalkingART Lates: Curate, Create, Communicate – A presentation and talk with curator in residence and resident artists.
The art studio inside the igration Museum Project Room to Breathe exhibition is a space curated by artist-curator and educator Dima Karout to explore the role of art and creativity in helping people settle into new lives in Britain and to offer educational art experiences for visitors. Each month, the studio welcomed a different migrant artist to share their work and process.
Since November six resident artists who have set up their studio at the heart of the Room to Breathe exhibition: Dima Karout, Habib Sadat, The New Art Studio, Ceyda Oskay, Shorsh Saleh and Belén L. Yáñez.
As their Group Show opens in the Art Studio, you are invited to meet the artists, discover their journey, hear about their residency experience, and learn about the educational programme and participatory artwork they’ve created at the Migration Museum.
This is a free and open to all presentation and discussion led by artist-curator and educator Dima Karout in presence of the artists.
