Another Idol Has Displaced Me by Olga Jusianec-Murphy: 18 October – 8 November

Polish born, London-based artist Olga Jusianec-Murphy floods the space with an army of unwanted objects rescued from London skips and abandoned buildings to create a fantastical underworld which you’re welcome to be a part of. Walk in, lend your ears, open your eyes and rethink stuff.

Two years ago, Ramsgate resident Kavel Rafferty took Samim Bigzad, a young Afghan asylum seeker, into her home. Come and hear how he became friends with her cat and how they were all dragged into a battle and a media storm with the Home Office and Amber Rudd.

An afternoon screening of select shorts by Lago Film Fest collating stories of political, personal and collective change, migration, transformation, and both individual and communal heritage and identities.
