YESTERDAY follows the story of Jack Malik, a struggling musician in an English seaside town, who dreams of fame. After a freak accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes to discover that he is the only person who remembers The Beatles. Jack becomes an overnight sensation by performing the Beatles’ songs to a world that has never heard of them.
“A glowing tribute to The Beatles and their music, this is both a toe-tapping pleasure to watch and a smart, occasionally scathing look at how we get things wrong.” ~ Helen O’Hara, Empire Magazine
Following the film, YESTERDAY director Danny Boyle will be present for a Q&A!
As always, our Welcome Kitchen chefs will be delighting your taste buds with food from around the world.
Tickets free to refugees and asylum seekers. Please email to secure your place – welcomepresents@gmail.com
