Refugees: In Our Eyes – a documentary by London teenagers
29th November 2016

A new documentary by London teenagers sees the refugee crisis through the eyes of a group of London teenagers as they encounter activists, artists and those directly involved. Featuring Syrian refugee and activist Ahmad al-Rashid, AOI World Illustration award winner Olivier Kugler, the Jewish Museum, ice&fire theatre and campaigner Onjali Rauf who has been organising aid to the Calais Camp with her charity Making Herstory.

The film was produced on a free weeklong workshop at Camden Summer University with a very lively and engaged group, facilitated by filmmaker Suzanne Cohen. It is being screened at public events aimed at young people such as the ‘Lost and Found’ exhibition at the October Gallery.
